Habs have tried a lot of failed prospects former first rounders, Laine. Dach, Newhook, Veleno, Bolduc and Texier. Maybe two of these guys have worked out.
I think Gallagher will be good. Pettersson has 6 years at 11.6 million for his 40-50 points. Id expect a first to take this contract on.

Why would Vancouver ever do that? If they are trading him maybe they retain on contract a bit and then get a much better deal. Vancouver is so bad they might as well wait and see how he does with the new coach.
