Not sure why you'd give a damn. This is rumor season.. where for every move that happens, there are about 5K rumors about what might.. most of which are based in someones dreams. This sounds like one. though for montreal, a nightmare.. I just don't care anymore. Most of these are in print so someone HAS something to print. I.E. When there is no news, make something up…. I stopped worrying about it 20 years ago when the internet started making rumors more plentiful.

Being in Montreal would break Pettersson’s mind even more than it already is. He doesn’t have the personality or mental toughness to survive that market. Vancouver is a tough market already Montreal would be worse. It would be way too much for him to handle,

Very dumb trade proposal from Vancouver asset management, if they're willing to give him away, Habs should not overthink this, yes.
No way this is real. Huge L for the Canucks if they trade away EP40 for nothing, at his lowest value ever. He will certainly be a 70+ points guy with decent linemates. And the cap ceiling is raising so his contract soon won't even be that bad relatively. No way the Sedins begin their era with such a disaster trade.
How about Danielson and a second with no money retained?
I dump on Petey a lot, but if he made it to Montreal he could get back to his 80-90 point seasons. There are a lot of good players on that team. Plus players who would not let him get bullied at any time. His confidence would go way up.. But yeah he is worth a lot more than Brendan. Maybe Chytil for Brendan?
