It's an interesting question! Good video going over it. I just wonder if the playoffs make the Flyers want to be more aggressive and they get a piece to help the current team, rather than a prospect 3-4 years away

I would say no, don't trade the pick but if they are picking for positional need (C or Dman), I'd prefer they trade the pick. They should have learned that drafting for need the past few drafts has been a huge mistake. Take the BPA and it may very well be a winger that slips because the Flyers aren't the only team that is obsessed with centers or RHD. Please take the Best Player Available and forget the obsession with centers.

Historically, they have done well drafting in the 20s with notables being Giroux, Justin Williams, Mike Richards, TK, Laughton, Foerster and hopefully Bonk… So I wouldn't just. offload the pick for the sake of adding a roster player unless it immediately helps!!! Would love Suvanto or Morozov!!!
