  1. In a lot of cases, like DeBrusk or Larkin, I don't blame the player for wanting out. The Canucks are in a rebuild and Larkin has been in Detroit for a decade. At some point, you've been doing your part, but you want to win. DeBrusk has struggled partly because he hasn't found chemistry with his line mates and there's been so much upheaval and mismanagement in the Canucks organization. I wouldn't blame any player for 25 who has a history of scoring goals or putting up points, like DeBrusk or Larkin, for wanting to give themselves a chance to win. From the Canucks perspective, they just have to get a pick back for him. Same with Larkin, but Detroit is obviously looking for a lot more than what the Canucks would be for DeBrusk.

  2. Thought I heard or read somewhere, either yesterday or today, that a couple of teams have submitted a trade offer to Steve Y. Think it was reported by Russo of the Atlantic that the teams that submitted, and supposedly final trade offers, were the Wild & Florida. No details of the offers of course.

  3. Just remember Collin Graf was 5’8” during his draft years, everyone passed. He’s now 6’1” imagine if Bjorck has a growth spurt after the draft

  4. As a Kraken fan, I don't really care about playoffs as much as seeing development in our young talent. Which the management of the organization seems to disagree with.

  5. I wonder if this means his buddy and mentor, Jim Rutherford heads to the Kraken too?
Seattle will switch from the most Canadian team to Team Sweden by 2028. Just watch!

  6. I heard Isles were added to the list of now 6 teams. Tampa Bay and Anaheim also on expanded list. Can you confirm? Surprised not Hurricanes. Cap space and need for a center

  7. Look, anyone believing anything from Bruce Garrioch are insane. So far, Brice Garrioch had the Sens getting every winger that are more than .5 points per game.

  8. "How to Burn a Franchise to the Ground in 4 Years or Less" by Patrick Allvin. Orchestrated some of the worse roster moves in Canuck history. Apparently Seattle didnt read the book. If DeBrusk wants a trade NO SALARY RETENTION. Let him or his agent find a team willing to take his contract in a fair trade or NO GO. Allvin already saddled them with OEL's ridiculous salary retention and they should of learned thats not the way to do it.

  9. Larkin asking for a trade takes the spotlight off the HORRID job Stevey Y has done building this team.

Spent 2 1st round picks on a 34 year old defenseman who doesn't fit with the team.

    Steve Yzerman is the problem
