Another benefit of skinner might be his chill mode. And we know he has the capabilities of playing playoff and cup worthy hockey. Added bonus look at the improvements made by the goalies the cats have brought in with the roster being healthy, he'd rock. Heck Skinner for 5 million as the starter. Use that extra cap to stack the defense 🤔
Zitto better keep Rod. He is untouchable plays hard n plays anywhere they need n he fits. Helluabuck yeah id like to see that but if bob goes i think that will deflate the team a bit. Hope bob stays but 3-4 yr is about it. Tough one for zitto
Apparently its all to do with Zito missing out on a lot of trades last season. We were rumored to be getting Stamkos and O'Rielly, but ended up losing out on both. For a team that is so highly desirable, Zito was supposed to get us some fresh legs here like Knights did with Marner. Remember when Panthers fans laughed about Marner wanting to come here? They got too comfortable keeping all the same guys around who are now banged up from 3 long runs.

Sorry, but Bob has become a very weird guy. He got super religious around the time we won cup 2 and refused to celebrate with the other guys. He probably thinks god is telling him he deserves 12 mil x 5 year contract. Also moping about due not getting to play in the Olympics, which I understand, but Vasy and Igor would get picked over him anyway, not to mention Sorokin, who beats him on save % and GAA. Bob should have focused on stepping up when we needed him if he wanted a massive contract. If we became a dynasty, then sure give him whatever he wanted for the hell of it.
I do agree with you that the goalie department hasn’t really done anything outside of Knight but in some way they could produce someone. Black did well in his first full season as a starter, Gerasimyuk did well while splitting time in the AHL & ECHL, and now there’s the UConn guy in the AHL.
I do also agree that Bob will resign here in Florida, maybe he takes less money or maybe not, who knows. Only time will tell to be honest.
FOURGOALSKY can kick rocks. He's had 3 good years out of the 8 we paid him. He's not going to get any younger.

Lundy trade scenarios are something else lol. He's only 24 and has two Cups and several international medals already.
I really hope this last season has forced Pomo to rethink his aversion to trusting young players. Mackie was improving the last number of games from the season and has to be allowed to fail, similar to how the Penguins handled Kindel. If Mackie is traded, I will bet money he'd flourish if given the opportunity.
There’s options for goalies.. askerov in San jose.. levi in buffalo.. skinner.. one of the woods in Colorado.. gufstason in minni… there’s options but I wouldn’t pay bob more than 6m.. bob was overpaid and he’s last season sucked.. sorry Bobby
