I would pass on Malhotra, Bjorck, and Verhoef
Take one of McKenna, Stenberg, or Reid at 3rd overall. At least one will be available there. Trade Hronek for 4th overall and draft someone like Carson Carels unless one of the three I mentioned earlier is available.

Toronto has interest in Verheoff. Enough interest to bring him to Toronto after the combine. I personally believe that Toronto is extremely motivated to land a top D man in a trade. Chicago is well known to be offering fourth overall for a top line forward and want Knies. It makes too much sense for Toronto if they are getting McKenna to trade an extra top line winger for a top pairing D.

I’ve come around to the idea of taking Malhotra. 6’2”, plays on both sides of the puck… you need those guys to win cups. And the Canucks still have a couple of drafts that they can tank and get another center cough Alexis Joseph.
If the Hawks take Verhoff or smitts Im done.

bpa works for other teams, just not the Canucks. if they draft for position that's a quick fix for center and prob costly. Know your team and curse and history and work around it. Get Carels and Verhoeff by trading Hronek the minny pick and lekkermakki or some other asset.

I’d shop M Petey, Willander, Forbort who really hasn’t gotten a fair chance because of injury, and Boeser and/or Hoglander or DeBrusk for Chicago 1st and a 3rd rnd. I want excitement and Viggo, Command and whoever is left .
