  1. @Brandon Pillar -> That was not actually a freudian slip around ~3m30 (Wheeler vs Ehlers slip). A Freudian slip is when your psyche exposes a psychological sensitivity on a topic accidentally. That was just a Broca's region error.

Being picky unnecessarily, just thought I'd clarify it regardless lol.

  2. Finally, the fancy stats are meaningless, it's people that play the game, not stats. Ott needs a top pairing RD to push Zub down a pairing to play with Chabot. If Trouba would come here I would sign him or trade for Hamilton who is on the down side of his career but still capable of helping Ott offensively. Second, they need a top six forward but this is less important & they don't need to bite on any deal but take a deal that is in their favour they can afford. 3rd they need a backup goalie & a 4th liner who is good at faceoffs, can play on the PK, drop the mitts & put up some pts.

To Ann: Zetterlund RW, Spence RD, 2027 1st rd pick & Kaliyev LW
To Ott: Mason McTavish C/LW & rights to Jacob Trouba RD (if he will sign here)

UFA Signings: Stuart Skinner G & Scott Laughton C/LW

    Tkachuk – Stutzle – Cozens
    McTavish – Pinto – Batherson
    Amadio – Greig – Giroux
    Foegele – Halliday – Laughton/Hodgson/MacDermid

    Sanderson – Trouba
    Chabot – Zub
    Kleven – Yakemchuk/Matinpalo

    Ullmark – Skinner

#32 – Ryan Roobroeck C/LW or Egor Shilov C/LW or Markus Ruck LW
#72 – Lavr Gashilov C/LW or Alexander Bilecki
#87 – Egor Barabanov LW or Brek Liske RD
#91 – Jonah Sivertson RW or Liam Lefebvre C/RW or Blake Zielinski RW

    Gashilov – Roobroeck – Sivertson
    Liske

  3. If the ruck twins are available, would you be willing to trade all three of the sens 3rd rounders for the 33 overall pick to get them both? Or what would you be willing to trade?

  4. I mean Pillzy is 100% correct, that timeout by Torts was certainly the game changer for Vegas. They were a completely different team after that break. And like Ross said, no minutia, just leadership

  5. Agree with Pillzy on the time out. Green don’t call them very often. Use them when you need them. Ottawa could dominate when they were playing well. The timeout is more important when you have a chance to regain momentum than when you are hoping to hold on a challenge at then end of the game. Need the Sens to focus on what it takes to win vs systems that make you less likely to lose. Killer. Instinct.

  6. The Potvin boys did that with the Islanders in the early eighties. We loved the Flyers in the early seventies. The Watson brothers were from Smithers,British Columbia 45 minutes from where I live.
Just a suggestion, but what about moving your pick plus a roster player for a better right shot d man,or a top six?
