This is among the worst defense I’ve ever seen. Two men chasing the puck behind the net, leaving a player alone in front of the net. To win, the defense must sort out their players much better. Three goals on seven shots tells it all. Come on, Carolina! You can do better than this.
There are about 28 teams that would trade places with the Hurricanes and lose Game 1 of the finals 5-4. Let's not lose sight of the fact this has been an incredible season to be a Canes fan.

Game 2 is now a must win for Carolina! Their weak link is Andersen in goal. The guy at best is fair to good. Those shutouts earlier in the play-offs were a team effort not an individual effort. When this guy faces shots he lets them in.
