Bruins NEED To Make A Trade to Fix Their BIGGEST Offseason Problem? | Garden Level Pod Ep. 35
🏒 How Do the Bruins Find a No. 1 Center? | Jack Studley Joins the Garden Level Podcast
The Boston Bruins have one major question hanging over their future: who will be their No. 1 center?
On this episode of the Garden Level Podcast, hosts Cam Stuart and Dan Conlon welcome Jack Studley of Boston Hockey Now for an in-depth discussion on the Bruins’ roster outlook and the moves that could reshape the franchise heading into the 2026-27 season.
With Elias Lindholm struggling to live up to expectations and carrying one of the largest contracts on the roster, the guys examine why the Bruins still lack a true top-line center and what options General Manager Don Sweeney could pursue to address the issue.
Jack breaks down several intriguing trade targets, including Mason McTavish and Mavrik Bourque, discussing what each player could bring to Boston and whether their current teams would even consider moving them. The conversation also shifts to the blue line, where the Bruins could potentially explore a trade for talented young defenseman Simon Nemec and continue building a younger core.
Plus, the crew takes a look at top prospect James Hagens and debates where he could fit into Boston’s lineup at the start of the 2026-27 season. Could Hagens become the franchise center Bruins fans have been waiting for, or will the team need to find help elsewhere before he’s ready to take over?

Soon as a bruins gm or president starts talking about providence having a good team that could win the Calder 😡 🤯 great Riley tufte and Patrick brown can get some hardware playing top line who gives a shit
Lindholm still finished with 50 points….WTF??Not as bad as you guys think
In my worthless opinion, I would try to trade Mason Lohrei to the Sharks for two of their many forward prospects. Filip Bystedt, Quentin Musty, Kasper Halttunen etc. Then I would package the 1st round pick to get Simon Nemec from New Jersey.
Every time l watch Vegas play it makes me sick , in the B’s miracle season at trade deadline day when they traded for Hathaway Bertuzzi and Orlov all garbage trades when they could of had Barbarshev from St. Louis for l think for a second round pick . Did they forget 2019 when he was one of the main reasons St.Louis beat us he is made for playoff hockey . Ugh 😩 idiots idiots idiots
seriously, what do they have to lose by playing Hagens at center and Pasta would love playing with someone who can get him the puck.
