Yep. When Davidson took over Bowman was on a 5 year streak of losing records. They only made the playoffs in the Covid year because the league added a qualifier round the hawks somehow won. That year they were dead last in the central when they backed in. They were a literal 12 seed. Not something to brag about. Basically Davidson took over a team already 5 years into a rebuild. He did a full tear down. Now the hawks are in year 10 of a 5 year rebuild. With only 3 years to go. So yeah… They need to start winning.

Tbf they were battling for a playoff spot before Bedard got hurt again so it’s a matter of him staying healthy or adding a few pieces to hold the ship together if he gets injured.
Make Minnesota an offer for ek or strammel. Chicago had Dach and Strome at one point. Either one of those players would have been perfect on the third or fourth line center depth for Minnesota and were extremely serviceable. With Judd brackett going to Vancouver, they are trading not drafting the next four to five seasons so start dealing before the blues and everyone else does
Burns was drafted as a Wing, then coaching made him switch to Defense.
