The Vancouver Canucks have found their new bench boss, naming Manny Malhotra as the 23rd head coach in franchise history. Malhotra, 46, has served as head coach of Vancouver’s AHL affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks, for the past two seasons. TSN Canucks reporter Farhan Lalji joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.

Very happy he's the new head Coach, Manny's gonna lead the way for the Canucks!
Let's go Manny
the league has no idea what is coming. Canucks are about to take over very sooner than later
Indian coach and Israeli players.
No wonder Vancouver is such a mess. Good lord.
Farhan is great. Thanks for the report.
Great hire and we have a 4 strong cultural charaxter guys at the top. However will a lack of experience bite us..next hire(s) should be an experienced assistant GM and coaches
First 2 really good steps for a long rebuild
1. New GM
2. New Coach
Both have seem the same vision and trust each other making the right decisions and know this rebuild will take time
Good choice. I think he'll have at least one year of 'tank' hockey to figure out things, then hopefully we'll see some improvements.
Why anyone inside the NHL or outside the NHL would want to be Head Coach of Vancouver Canucks is concerning…Canucks would be the ideal NHL team to be the first NHL franchise Coached by A.I. instead…missed opportunity here…
Manny was smart not to take the Leafs coaching job. He knows the Leafs have ruined many coaching careers. He's a great fit for the Canucks. Hopefully he can get things going in the right direction there.
