It isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Darche is going to rebuild this team. Barzel is not untouchable that’s for sure!
If the meal continues to come out disappointing you change the chef. Isles did that several times. Now you change ingredients and that is players. Barry has positives but he kills PP & will never fully committed to a system or defensive responsibility. At his age, ya trade for right deal.
There is no goal scorer out there who can make Barzy pass the puck and not hold it too long. Guys call for it but when he is doing his thing he ain't gonna pass and he ain't gonna shoot. Played with guys like him and it's annoying as hell.
Barzy's been mentally shot since he got injured a few years back. Curls at the circles every time. Won't go straight up the gut to the net. Won't shoot like he used to. Check out the Playoff games vs Tampa and see the difference. He's a totally different Player. He doesn't want to get hit or injured.
If Brady and a prospect or 1st is coming back for Barzal, I'd be talking to the Sens.

I think you misunderstood the article. Garrioch said an executive from a team told him darche is testing the market on him., nothing about it being to Ottawa or connected to Ottawa The writer in the next paragraph was brainstorming if Ottawa could make an offer.
Really would like to see barzal traded along with that awful contract. Maybe if can score more than 19 goals or was a first line player or was faster as slow puck holding unable to create space or seperation. Marner is second line player on Vegas even he was a better center than bo barzal. Gotta shed salary as have nothing on defense. Islanders could easily do a forward mount rushmore with Bossy Trottier without anybody on the current roster. Though if had to do a mount rushmore on defense how many Islanders fans even born to remember Pot or could fill the other 3 spots. Problem is Pelech Pulock Mayfield all over 600 games played among all time leaders or top 5 to 10. Then wonder why nobody remembers one for the thumb 5th Cup.
