I feel like Rod is such an X factor. He is has been the embodiment of that team for decades, there is no way he doesn’t fire them up completely in such an infectious way.
This could be a great Stanley Cup final. Both of them are very similar with their checking. They are more physical than any other team that played in these playoffs. The only thing that is in favor for the Golden knights is that they have some of these players who have won the Cup in 2023. This could go 7 games

What Vegas didn't face in the previous rounds was a tough defense. Carolina employs a suffocating defense. Rod Brind'Amour has ALL players plays BOTH aspects of the game. I'm so sick of people saying that Carolina didn't play any real competition. That's BS and you know it. EVERY team that makes the playoffs deserves to be there. Montreal was a good offensive team this season. They proved that in the playoffs, especially against Buffalo. Carolina's aggressive defense shut down Montreal in 5 games. Yes, Montreal scored 6 against Carolina in game 1, but Carolina had been off for 11 days and were a bit rusty. The rest of the series, Carolina was locked in. Carolina has a nice mix of wily veterans and speedy youngsters. I feel that Carolina's speed will be the determining factor. This will be a tough series for whoever wins, but I see Carolina winning in 7.
