  1. "All those years of pain, of hope thinking this was the year only to be painfully reminded you're not good enough. Kicked in the dick as a fan again and again, making you doubt the coach, your favorite players and your favorite team every single spring.

The Carolina Hurricanes have finally made it back to the cup. They may not win it, but they finally made it over the hump to have a chance and after all these years this is all I can ask for. Now go and get that thing and prove yourselves.

    I'm so fucking happy"

    -not me

  2. I wish I could afford to be there in person. But I'll definitely be cheering from home. This bunch of jerks is bring the cup home. Go canes! 💪

  3. Generational performance by Wardo in his rookie debut in that 2006 postseason. That team absolutely had that "feeling" that season, especially going into the first round…. AND that's exactly the same "feeling" at the start of the season & its just compounded with their performance so far.

BRING IT HOME BOYS!!! Go Canes! Proud of the Organization w Rod, Daniels, & Alumni.
    GET IT!

  4. Best of luck Hurricanes fans! I'm a Red Wings fan but I've been rooting for y'all all the way. Super impressive team and long overdue.

  5. A pair of Jordans famously found it's footing in the state of NC. Maybe it's time for another pair of Jordans to reach the air up there?

  6. Hats off to production and thank you Mr. Ward, a true Hurricanes legend. Bring the Cup home boys. BRING THE CUP HOME! 🌀💪🏻🏆

  7. Cheering on from sunny Phoenix, AZ!!! Wishing I could be there!
I was a young buck in ‘06, 25 years old. I remember driving down Hillsborough Street (WAY before there were roundabouts). The wife and I wanted to find THE crowd and join in on the celebration. We either couldn’t find parking or we felt like the crowd was a tad too rowdy. We eventually made our way down to the 500 block of Glenwood Ave where people had started bonfires with pallets. People were yelling and screaming. You could hear car horns and cheering coming from every direction.
That was one heck of a night.
I managed to salvage a poster from a local business that was taking it down that night. Those posters were bright red and said:
    “WHATEVER IT TAKES”
    I still have it. 😎

  8. GOOOOO CANE'S!!!!! BRING THAT CUP TO RALEIGH GUY'S, US CANIAC'S HAS GOT YOUR BACK, KICK VEGAS TO THE CURB, LET THEM FEEL THE POWER OF A CAT 3 HURRICANE! LET VEGAS KNOW THE RAW POWER OF A HURRICANE!!!!!!
    🏒 SANFORD N.C. HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. What an amazing run it was in 2006. So glorious. I am really hoping the Canes can do it again this year. They are such a hard-working group of guys who do it the right way, and they all seem like nice guys who represent the organization well. Rod… what can you say? Amazing player. Great coach. Go Canes!
