4. Still hoping the Blues can make a deal with San Jose to acquire the #2 pick in order to get Ivar Stenberg and reunite him with his brother ,Otto. Stenberg could be the next superstar for the Blues, and adding him to the young core would be huge.

7. Like you said if a GM isn’t listening they’re not doing their job, but Thomas isn’t available. Doug Armstrong pretty much said as much at the year end meeting.

8. People who think the Blues are trading Thomas you’re crazy , an 80 to 100 point center for 7 million a year for next 4 years is a outstanding value, it would have to be one hell of a package to get Thomas

11. What part of "why would Dallas make this deal" do you believe is good for them? They get ZERO cap relief taking on Hronek's contract. They loose a top player in the league. Why do they need to include the Canucks??? Make the deal straight w/ Chicago and get a high pick and get $7.5 million of cap space. Dallas would get more relief from the Ellis contract. Why would they let the Canucks have it???

13. With the Leafs I don't even blink at the "insiders" talking. Because they don't really know much of anything.

    Plus, every GM with the first overall pick listens to offers. No one really wants to overpay for it so it never moves. And that's probably going to remain the case here. Just the way of the rumour mill.

25. The Kraken are going to get a star for a #7 pick? What universe are you living in? Kraken are going to USE their #7 pick to get another young prospect, BUT will probably bundle their 25th with maybe Jared McCann to get another young player…like McCann + TBL 25th for Nemec + NJD 12th.

    vancouver – receives #4 overall, k.korchinski, #37 overall, #45 overall, #66 overall, i.lyubushkin (cap dump), and r.ellis' contract (cap dump)
    dallas – receives f.hronek and j.debrusk
    chicago – receives j.robertson (w/ extension) and e.pettersson (no retention).
