Bad "voodoo" or vibes? 😂
McKenna
Yes, it should be McKenna, and, they should speak to Jussi Ahokas at the conclusion of the Memorial Cup.
Stenberg already playing Pro for Frulunda in Sweden so he should be the obvious choice for the Leafs. McKenna and College hockey aren’t even close to any Pro League. As for the Marner insinuations I hope to Hell he wins his Cup then tells Moronto Media Dickheads to SUCKIT!!!
Why is nick looking like Tom Wilson now hahaha
Montreal has one game breaking forward and he’s 20. They don’t have the “team ceiling” people think. They don’t have the center depth to win. Suzuki is a great C but he’s not a game breaking forward.
Same situation in Ottawa. How many game breaking forwards do they have? Swept by Carolina.
Montreal, Ottawa and a large number of teams I could mention don’t have a forward core that is as good as Toronto and people are saying Toronto should rebuild…. 😂
Toronto has 4 outstanding top six players and many of them are game breaking talents… McKenna is going to be McDavid-like in the NHL. I am calling it now. Look at his stats. Look at his analytics. He’s a bigger offensive talent than Celebrini and that is clear if you look into his analytics in the NCAA.
Stenberg will be a great forward. McKenna is a game breaker. Teams will have to game plan to try to shut him down.
I believe Montreal got very very good future ahead this season for Montreal is not a 1 off they are going to be a cup contender for more years to come so my message to habs fans is continue patience with this young team this playoffs have been good learning curve for this young team this experience will pay off in the future for this really good young team same message for the Anaheim Ducks has well they to have a great young team has well they took a step forward this season has well
In the NCAA, McKenna had certain disadvantages and yet put up absolutely elite analytics. To understand his season you have to dig behind the numbers. McKenna’s team had a lot of injuries and not very much talent. His main center was a winger. At times he had to play with bottom six defensive forwards for a significant amount of time. Despite these huge disadvantages, McKenna finished second in PTS/G in the NCAA. This was not far off of Celebrini but with far worse teammates. When you look at expected points it gets more interesting. McKenna put up more expected assists than Celebrini and Fantilli combined. 20% more expected points. 3.73 points per 60. These are insane numbers. If teammates had converted his playmaking at a normal rate he would have outscored Celebrini. This is not really a huge surprise. McKenna broke his U18 scoring record a draft year younger.
I believe McKenna is the most elite offensive talent of the past 10 drafts. This is a McDavid level talent. I am not using hyperbole here, look at the analytical numbers. Yes, he has flaws to his game. These are obvious. But he is far better than the consensus is claiming for the reasons I have laid out.
I figured this out through my own research. I did a deep dive into the player. Just like I did in the Auston Matthews draft. Since Toronto I believe uses analytics to evaluate prospects I believe they will come to the same conclusions and take him first overall.
I am projecting an 80+ points rookie season. He probably would have gotten 60 points if he played this year. NHLe numbers don’t capture this for the reasons I explained. Expected points are the key to evaluate his season properly.
no matter what happens Mitch Marner will get mvp for 1simple reason, Gary Bettman loves to stick it to the leafs
Late comment…. Why don’t the leafs consider the Hunter brothers to coach the leafs?
You're not Italian, you're Canadian
This is all gravy for the habs to get even this far and they are way ahead of the expectations for the team and the rest of the league needs to take note of this situation because it is just getting better as more guys mature and come into the league
Leafs new coach: Cassidy, Knoblauch, Roy, Woodcroft, Carle or Torts? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
“My light died “ being in the dark lmao such a perfect example of what the leafs are doing or going to do
