Hurricanes A Game Away From Stanley Cup Finals | Real Kyper & Bourne | May 28, 2026

Rest in peace Lemieux
Luv the R. L. interview.
⤠he is feeling better.
Welcome back to your 1st full day back at work š
I donāt accept the tired excuse. In a game when both teams are fit and itās 1-0 or 2-0 the team is under pressure and looks like theyāve run out of gas. But mid third when they score, the momentum tips and they dominate. Then they tie the game and it looks like the opponent is unfit or tired now. Itās motivation and self belief more than fitness this time of year.. teams can play for 5 overtimeās in the Playoffs.
Now it has been revealed Lemieux committed suicide. Tragic. RIP
RIP Claude Lemieux. 4x Cup Champ, 1x Conn Smythe winner, 1215GP, 786pts. Playoffs – 234GP 158pts. Drafted 2nd round 26 overall, 1983. 6'1, 226lbs. Legend!
Lemieux was a part of the team when I started cheering for the Avs, made himself an icon to me during the series' with the Red Wings. Wishing the best for the surviving family members, mental health is no joke particularly for men. RIP Claude! <3
For everybody whining that Sportsnet is Leafsnet, this should put that to rest, a Toronto team is in the finals, AHL but finals nonetheless, and they barely spoke 20 seconds about it as the show was ending…
the sounds sammy makes with his mouth nauseate me
Sad news about Claude Lemieux but I was happy to see Renaud Lavoie back on the show and doing well!
Glen Wesley (26) was my favorite Bruin circa 1988, I was crushed when he got traded to Hartford.
Great job the all the staff took care of him (RL) so quickly!
Welcome back!
MTL needs to stop bringing the puck behind the net and then breaking out. It worked in Game 1 because Carolina was not game speed ready. All MTL is doing now is giving the Canes D time to set up. St. Louis is getting schooled by Rod and honestly that shouldnāt be happening
Bummer. He carried the torch for a Habs game last week and then he off's himself. Sad stuff.
Lemieux was a playoff stud. Period. I would have guessed he was a few years older than 60.
Kyper is bang on about the time out from Montreal. Made no sense.
A ref with a microphone might make Tkchuk a better player
Happy recovery Renaud. Welcome back.
RIP Claude.
Ref mics will improve officiating. THAT's the take. Kipper is wrong sometimes, and this one VERY much so… haha
You guys barely talk anymore before bringing on some Joe Schmoe. It's so lame.
Happy to see you are feeling good Renaud Lavoie. ā¤
Phone and check on a friendā¤
To Sammy ⦠How many third rounds have your leafs been to in your life? lol or better yet.. Has your team been to a Stanley Cup final since 1967? 0 finals for the maple laughs since they expanded from 6 teams lol . Take less shots at the Canadiens when you have nothing to back it up with
RIP Claude
Having access to Kyper and the boys after work is awesome best 1hr in hockey period.
He was a fantastic hockey player. The guy you sometimes hated and the guy you wanted on your team. he should have been inducted into the hall of fame. it's almost evil that the hall didn't induct him. they failed again. just like Pat Burns.
he was a hell of a player.
bless his family and friends and fans
Key has been an absolute stud and will keep getting better, but it's also the benefit of the system. Ghost is basically all world in the Canes system when he's been ridiculed as a defensive liability most of his career.
Such revisionist history. Ottawa was basically the best team in the NHL post Olympics. Philly… okay. Montreal dispatched 2 good teams and have been made to look silly.
Rip lemieux
Remember Montreal is still building . Great seasons to come
Rest In Peace Claude Lemieux. Prayers to the family, friends, fans of Lemieux
Cool. Vegas beat Carolina both times in the regular season with score differential of 10-4.
Second cup for Vegas incoming. š
Draft McKenna woohhooo
How about that amazing hit on Bouchard! As if things weren't bad enough for the Oilers he's never going to be the same!
RIP Evan Bouchard! He's never going to be the same player after today's hit!
you all are a desapointment talkk ……………..garbage
and noone wants to watch hockey players complain and flop. old man kyper needs a muzzy
Glad to see you in good spirits Renaud
was there no 27th show? Removed?
