Creative cap managed is reality of a contending team in the NHL. They need to incentivize other teams to take on the contracts for Greenway and Norris. Then they can let Tuch test the market and lock up Benson and Byram long-term.
Trade Power & Greenway & you get $12.35 mil in additional cap space. Sign Kesselring to a 1 year show me contract and use him on the 2nd D line. If he falters Metsa can get the job done. We also have Mrtka coming hopefully soonish. Also I'd take Tuch over Quinn. Quinn is replaceable with players we already have. Tuch is not.
