it seems like a foregone conclusion that we're drafting Malhotra. I just hope I am extremely wrong and he's going to be a great #1 centreman.

Can someone please explain to me why Malhotra seems to be so coveted at #3? He literally scored 8 goals in the BCHL last year. I am genuinely concerned that Malhotra will be a 30-point 3rd line centre. This should be the last thing we're trying to draft with a top 3 pick. If the Canucks love him so much, trade down.

No trades up. Canucks can take Carson Casels as number one by far rhe most skilled and agressive player. Plays like Quinn Hughes with way more size.Team can add two way center as pick two. Command is by far best two way player. Canuck must think andtake a guy that can drive the play. Casels can do that.
It's actually NOT tough, you pick Chase Reid for sure, or if we're lucky enough, McKenna/Stenberg…
You also don't get a dad to coach his own son on the same team…
