So many of the Knights already have a Cup. It’s hard to stay motivated and play really hard in games that don’t have major consequences. That seemed like what happened in the regular season and even in the early games of Rounds 1 and 2. But when the games matter they turn it on. They have so many guys with so much talent. Oh and they stopped playing Adin Hill to give Carter Hart a chance. That’s the story of the 2025/2026 Knights. But as Kobe said, “jobs not finished.” 5 more wins. #DontForgetTorts

On the whole Gawlik vs Stone absence. Gawlik is correct.
Both players are 3rd in points on their respective teams during the regular season.
Makar had 79 and Stone had 73 plus Stone missed a ton of games and couldn’t get more points.
This isn’t a talent thing, it’s how each player affects their team as a whole. Both teams had their players that were 3rd in points out of the game.
To say Makar is so much more important is pure uncut cope by Avs’ whiners
So this is really how the Golden Knights have played all season. You aren't sure what team will take the ice in the 1st period. Then they come out in the 2nd and 3rd its like this is "no big deal" and come from behind (most of the time). The Avs 1st and 3rd goal were not great for Hart but he didn't care. Amazing play after that. When I was watching I felt one more Av goal would sink them. It never happened.

Tony never takes accountability for his wrong series predictions. He is a fault finder for any Knights player and always finds some love for their opponents.
Good goal, if he hadn't taped his stick that far down you could've seen it better, I've scored a couple of those goals back in youth hockey, as long as it's all stick it should've counted.
