  1. he had 12 goals and is a 4th liner at this point that makes 4 mil a year, what are you talking about mcguire, so hard to replace in the same breath as replacing marner, no wonder you are unemployed.

  2. Goalie issue is a huge issue. Stolarz , Woll and Hildeby all need to clear waivers next season. So basically they will loose one of them for nothing as soon as camp ends. Hey need to put both Stolarz and Woll on the market and trade the one who gets you the best

  3. If Marner performed the same way in the playoffs with Leafs not a single fan would complain, Mitch is to blame not the fans who care so much about the team

  4. I've said for years (and have the comment receipts) that the Leafs needed to move off the talented but grossly soft and lazy Nylander. I wanted him traded years ago, then I wanted the Leafs to not give him a contract extension, but because he was scoring, all these moronic executives and "analysts" that have no clue about the importance of a team's balance and culture, essentially chose him over Marner. Talent was not the Leaf's problem, and still isn't, their soft and entitled culture is, and guys like Nylander are setting the tone for everyone else. I said Mitch's loss was a major blow and he would excel in Vagas – looking like I was dead on – not because Vegas has more skill but because Vegas has actually built a proper team and set a culture of success.

  5. Cheese with that wine a 11 million $ player couldn't take criticism give me a break he left he was not driven out of Toronto that just makes Jim sound like the biggest cry baby over and this guy saying that real hockey players can cry to get they own way tjis guy is clueless

  6. i heard ryan o'reilly say on a nashville hockey podcast when asked why he didn't re up with the leafs said "that group will never win anything." that's when the team was at their best with 'the big four' as they were referred to. they are being taken care of as vancouver has never got a draft pick where they finished at the lower end of the league. i predicted a month before the draft toronto or new york will get the first overall. the nhl is corrupt.

  7. Why can't these people admit that Mitch Marner never , never, never performed like this in the playoffs for the Toronto Maple Leafs . I watched ever shift he ever played for us in the playoff . His effort was brutal he got pushed around and almost crapped his pants . How the hell can they say he is proving he was not part of the problem . I hate these Monday morning quarterbacks .

  8. Saw an article saying leafs solved their domi problem in reference to complications with surgery, that shows how disgusting Toronto media is. Absolutely appalling to put someone's health over cap space and roster spots.
