Too big too fast.. there is little interest In womens hockey this league is going to bankrupt itself…. I have not watched one game or even know who the teams are.. Don’t think that will change it’s just not men’s hockey. I mean announced a day ago and there are 60 comments and only 1000 likes.. ya failure loading
In January 1998 Women's teams USA and Canada held a game at the Sharks Arena. Then again in October 2001, with a game in December 2001 between Women's teams USA and China. I was hooked in January 1998. I was hoping womens hockey would advance sooner so I could see games live again. I was forced to move out of California in May 2017 (Oregon) due to finances. I was happy when womens hockey started expanding and am happy for San Jose to get a team, finally. I've had an NHL favorite team for 3 decades.
It is so wonderful to see the PWHL in the Bay Area. I played on the Berkeley Breakers in the late 70’s-early 80’s when there were only two women’s hockey teams in the entire state.
If we get a Los Angeles team, we’re back in business Los Angeles😏😏😏😏😏😏😏
LA will be in the mix in 2028 or 2029. That way, another NorCal vs. SoCal rivalry.
