Other than the 8-3 game against Buffalo, game two against Carolina was probably their worst outing and they still managed to get to overtime. Look for game three to continue the trend of following up a loss with a big win.
Habs need to play a full 60 minutes. They can't get outshot and outplayed. They have to play with desperation.
Playing the Canes is not Run 'n Gun, like the first game. It is Bump and Grind. It is going to be the small wins all night long that determine the big one.

THEY HIT EVERYBODY, WHILE FIRST LINE TRY TO PLAY FANCY HOCKEY WHICH IS NOT WORKING. THEY ARE LUCKY TO HAVE DOBES OR THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT IN THE FIRST SERY.
REMEMBER WHEN MONTREAL WENT ALL THE WAY ONE OF THE LAST TIME WE WON THE CUP : WHO MADE THEM WIN? THEY HAD A VERY GOOD GOALER, BUT UNLESS A GUY THAT JUST JOINED THE TEAM MADE A DIFFERENCE CLAUDE LEMIEUX THAT DID NOT CHOOS HIS TARGETS, THAT WAS MANHANDLING THE OPOSITION ON THE BOARD AND HITTING EVERYTHING THAT MOVED, AND ALSO SCORED CRITICAL GOALS, THE FANCY PLAYERS THEY HAD COULD NOT DO THE JOB, MONTREAL HAS ONE SIMILAR GUY ITS ANDERSON, BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH, ANDERSON IS ALONE, ALMOST EVERYBODY ELSE IS 5 FEET TALL, PLUS MONTREAL AT THE TIME HAD DEFENSEMEN WHO WERE 6 FEET TALL, AND STRONG, NOBODY COULD PLANT HIMSELF IN FRONT OF THE GOALER. DONT GET ME WRONG , I LOVE HUDSON THE QUARTERBACK, BUT WE NEED GIANTS TO BACK HIM UP.

They can't give a goal in the first couple minutes which they do a lot it seems. Montreal needs to win the next two or I think they will lose series. They won't last another 7 game series.

Those Habs die hard mega fans don't help the team to play good defense and build on offense. They should take off all those RED shirts!
