Evan Bouchard needs to get 100 points to even get a whiff of the Norris, it’s absolute BS but that will be the reason he does or does not get it
The Eastern writers don't like Bouchard,so he will not Win
He’s played much better over the past 30 games or so, I think the turnovers and lack of defence at the beginning of the year will cost him the award regardless
You have to have a pulse defensively. He does not. Werenski will win it this year.
Bouchard is hockeys best defenseman this year. His metrics across the board blow away Hughes and Makar and even better than Werenski

Because in his own zone, Bouchard looks more like a drifter passing by than someone actually defending.
He was terrible defensively at the the beginning of the season – his floor has raised offensively. Makar is his comparison
His stats without McDavid tell a different story. He’s riding coattails like non-other. And McDavid keeps doing this to himself. He promotes his friends, his friends get over-valued contracts and they cuff themselves as a team… if you think bouch isn’t easy replaceable ur sniffing glue.
He can pot 100 and he still won't win. It'll never happen.

Bouchard's biggest issue against him is that he doesn't control the play very much like the other Norris contenders do. If Coffey could only teach him to skate better and start carrying the puck more! And he doesn't quarterback the PP at all, that will always be McDavid.
Imagine being a bum like Armstrong and letting his hate of the Oilers override assembling the best Olympic roster possible.
