Kyrou, Parayko, 11, and 15 for #2 pick. Sign Tuch and Anderrson. Done.
The only move we need is to move 30 and binner to move up to 8 and keep 3 picks in the top 15 instead of 1 player
Thanks for the breakdown
You two might be AI. I’ll keep saying it until you’re crying on draft night. San Jose is never doing that deal.
how many times do fans have to say that they dont want to trade up in the draft simple math two maybes are better than one stlouis isnt close to winning a cup we need as many young players as we can get and hope some of they turn out to be players. nobody is gaurted to turn out in the draft it almost all luck
Am I the only one who wants them to move the 15 pick to either 10 or 12 and pick both Rusk bros?
They both had over 100 points this season and it fills the eggplant emoji ppl have for obtaining brothers via the draft.
Honestly the only thing that I think gets it done is a top prospect, Mailloux, and our 11th overall.
My boy Tucker needs big contract
clowns got your march wins 3 years in a row .. no top 5 pick for stl and no superstar or game breakers .. enjoy the march culture ..no one moves up .. other teams value top 5 picks unlike the blues who value march wins
From a draft pick equivalent value perspective, the Blues would have to give up picks# 11, 15, 31, 73 & 75. This is assuming that Ivar Stenberg is valued as a typical #2 draft pick. If Stenberg is viewed as better than the average #2 pick, then the price could be even higher (and vice versa).
Soild haircut Mark.
I can see San Jose talking Vancouver to jump up to get Stenburg with the Sundins wanting him Sharks still get Reid and picks up some other draft capital from Sharks
We are not trading up. These guys just keep trading half the team for a prospect no thank you.
we could keep our 3 picks and get the Ruck twins!!
If they move up and take anyone but Stenberg we riot
IF the draft went the way you have it laid out, Stenberg is not worth more than Parayko and Rudolph
Sharks fan here, just started the video. Ill let you know my thoughts after.
1. The top 2 picks are McKenna and Stenberg – both will probably be elite level players
2. The next tier, picks 3 thru 7 drops off from there
3. There is no realistic trade scenario where the Blues acquire the 2nd pick from the Sharks without a right-handed #1 dman going the other way.
Get as many good young players in the pipeline and let them earn a spot with the big club. Young players coming up too soon hurts their mental development
so from the Sharks perspective, you need to align to the core, which is 20-23 years old. They need defense, both Left and Right.
I would think to get to 2 you are going to have to trade 11,15, Jiricek, and Lindstien.
If the Blues believe Stenberg is generational, and I personally don't, you're going to have to give up generational level back. The Sharks are almost to the point where 1sts aren't nearly as important as that youth movement.
Think about what the Blues are asking for with Thomas and JK25. You are looking at least that kind of return for #2. I don't see a world where 55 moves the needle for San Jose. If you plan on moving a veteran D man, it's going to start with Broberg, which from St. Louis' perspective should be no consideration.
DON’T DO IT!!! Belchetz at #11 and Suvanto at #15
If San Jose is interested, Kyrou and the 11. That would be a no-brainer. If they're looking for defense, trade out Kyrou for Parayko or a younger d-man (I disagree about Mailloux). Look, Parayko had a bad year, but he's still got a bomb and he can be decent with the right pairing.
Could the Blues use the 3 first rounders, player, and a prospect to trade for Conner McDavid? I just watched a hypothetical video where McDavid was out in Edmonton, and it got me thinking. Do we have enough draft capital to make this trade actually work?
