12. I like a lot of these ideas, though I stand by the fact that you dont start the rebuild without your own 1st rounders for the next 2 years. So my focus is on keeping Matthews, Willy and Knies. I am confused about that Stolarz trade, you think the leafs could only get a 6th rounder for stolarz and Benoit??

13. Unless leafs going the re-build route do not trade Willy. For all his faults he is elite offensive talent. Leaf fans do not know how to appreciate what they have. He can be a game changer and win you games. He needs the right coach to motivate him.

14. Anaheim needs defense. Morgan Rielly Ekman Larrson and Nick Robertson for Mason McTavish would give the Ducks depth that will leave them playoff ready for an even deeper run next season. McKenna and McTavish might be legit next year….♠️26♥️!

17. Nylander is probably out of the age range that the Hawks want. Knies was really only the target because he hit on multiple facets what the Hawks need (size, scoring, physicality) AND is only 23. Hagel and Cat were both dealt for similar reasons on top of asset management. Nylander doesn’t really address a need for what it would cost. Lardis, Moore, are too important to the future
