  1. Please stop saying that the habs are the underdog. You cannot measure the strenght of a team when that very same team is playing weak teams, Ottawa was overrated and Philadelphia wasn't a good team at all. This is the first real team that the Canes are matching up against. Hendersen isn't a top goalie, and the Canes cannot keep pace with MTL, MTL are just way too fast for them. Getting scored 4 goals under 11 minutes and not being able to put a shot on net for more than 18 minutes. MTL knows what adversity is, they thrive on it, For the Canes, adversity is a foreign concept. You cannot learn how to win during the playoffs without losing and bouncing back. And this is exactly what MTL did against Tampa Bay and Buffalo; Winning game seven after a 8-3 loss?…. MTL knows how to win, the Canes don't.

  2. This guy doesn't know hockey, never heard of him he says Carolina has a better team on paper…if you want to know the real truth listen to P.K. Subban on ESPN , P.K says Canes lack talent compared to MTL, that's what I see. Reminder 4-0 for Montreal this year Habs vs Canes…

  3. Twenty out of 22 USA TV hockey specialists gave the series to Carolina… sincerely… the Habs won all their games against Hurricane this year… where these TV hosts get their hockey credentials… from a popcorn box LOL

  4. The Canes' minds were in Cabo. Too many of them playing well below their potential. Yes, Montreal is indeed a serious cup contender, but Carolina cannot play like shit and expect to advance.

  5. lol how’re the Habs worst on paper?? 50 goal scorer Caufield, 100 points Suzy, second plc in Calder votes Demidov, last season’s Calder winner Hutson, best goaltending since the Olympics Dobes, its not even close

  6. No stats before this series supported suggested that the Canes have a chance this series. The Canes aren't Tampa Bay. They aren't the Sabres… Carolina will be lucky to go past 5 games.

Teams coming out of a 7 game series vs a sweep. Favours Montreal.

Carolina absolutely sucks in the conference finals.

Carolina had lost 4 straight regular season games vs the Habs and down the stretch the Habs had between the hurricanes twice in Carolina.

I said at the beginning of the playoffs the team coming out of the Atlantic was advancing to the final and nothing that I saw in game 1 suggests anything different.

  7. Надеюсь, сегодняшняя игра на ЧМ придаст уверенности Добешу и не повергнет в уныние Слафа.

  8. I'm not surprised that the Leafs have 2 spots in different decades for the worst playoffs choke jobs. That 'tradition' is starting to feel like a bit of a curse.

  9. These cocky montreal fans are getting into me.
I cant wait to see theyre face when canes will destroy the habs.
Canes were rusty because of 11-12 days rest!! Cant you ppl think?!

  10. "Using 'rest' as an excuse now? Wow. Let’s be real—they never thought MTL was this good. They’re taking a day to analyze a team when they had two weeks to prepare for."

  11. Colorado is getting steamrolled by Las Vegas too. There's a bigger story. The cup favourite team is finally struggling to keep up with another team. Nobody is picking the habs to win, they don't have the goaltending or the defense to stop Carolina.
