  1. I think that it could turn into a public relations nightmare if they draft Stenberg. The Swede haters will come out in force. Maybe you guys are too young to remember the waves of hate the Sedins got? You're certainly aware of how much EP40 negativity there is. Although Rutherford is diminished in the equation he made it no secret that he didn't want a USA player and intended to draft a Canadian.

I'm a best player available voter. Although the choice of Malhotra is tempting, the possibility of Sedins selecting Stenberg is tangible. San Jose may take Reid. That's a crossroad. Since Vancouver needs to sell rebuild, Stenberg can be added immediately. But either way, Vancouver needs all positions filled. Hopefully, whatever choices they make transition to the NHL. That's the most important thing.

  2. Stenberg/Carels. Ruck Twins. Also on the swedes topic… or honestly any other nationality, we should be aiming for a roster of 50-70% Canadians. Almost every winning team has a majority of Canadians, and its embarrassing as a Canadian city to historically have the FEWEST. I dont mind drafting exceptional players that arent. Like Stenberg, however if there is a close option between players, we should be taking Canadian every single time. Like Carels > Reid (I think he's better anyways, but consensus and analytics have them close).

  3. McKenna not a chance. Stenberg nor a chance, Sharks will not pass on Stenberg. Malholtra or Carson Casels for Canucks, US kids do want to play here. I would take Carson Casels as first pick a forward in second pick. Manny Halholtra does not wat to coach his own kid.

  4. I am hoping they can land Niklas Aram-Olson & Ryder Cali with their 2nd round picks.

What do you think of drafting William Lacelle in the 3rd or 4th round?
