Thursday’s episode begins with 18-year-old defenseman Chase Reid’s 2026 NHL Draft Profile. Host Jack Bushman goes over Reid’s strengths, weaknesses, stats, and projection as an NHLer, then discusses whether he’d be a good fit for the Chicago Blackhawks with the fourth overall pick. Next, Bushman gets into Frank Nazar’s 2025-26 season recap, where he receives a grade for his first full season with the Blackhawks. The episode concludes with an update from the 2026 IIHF World Championship, where Anton Frondell finally dressed for Sweden after sitting out for the first three games. QUESTION OF THE DAY — Do YOU Think Chase Reid Is A Good Fit For The Blackhawks? Would YOU Take Him 4th Overall?
If no Stenberg, then Smits who apparently is a bit of a free spirit and would make for an interesting pairing with Levshunov, also a known nonconformist, shall we say.
I could also see Malhotra because you can’t have too many centers, especially big two way ones which the Hawks lack somewhat.
Frondell's job is to play for the Blackhawks. Players get injured in these tournaments all the time. I'm fine with him not playing.
Reid, Carrels or Smits could all help, no idea how the Hawks rate them?
Nazar, add 5-10 lbs of muscle, stay healthy and he should have a great year.❤
Because of what you pointed out about the 2 R handed D men they already have, I would take Carels at 4.
