  1. I think they realize just how horrible the GM exit meeting was when they put something like this out! Remember fans (Holland made NO bad decisions!)

  2. They need to play a more aggressive type of game. Hold players accountable and if there’s slackers then there’s plenty of young talent in Ontario waiting to show what they got.

  3. If I was GM- move byfield to the wing. This team is pretty solid on the wing at that point-

    Kempe/panarin
    Byfield/Fiala
    Moore/laferriere
    Armia/Ward

There is no market to land elite forwards because there are so few sellers.

Extend Laughton. Your centers are now turcotte, helenius, Laughton which is terrible, but you have all of your draft picks. Move picks and prospects for a good center (not elite center). Now your forward group is good.

Need one more mobile Dman and try to remove edmundson or Ceci.

Goaltending is in a flux so might as well keep Kuemper and forsberg and promote Portillo with injury.

  4. What if instead of Luc and ownership hiring this horrible GM just because he's was seasoned and available, they brought in some young analytical genius who could chart a whole new direction for the organization? They are out there. The moves he made not impressive and not likely to do anything but tread water, which is where we don't want to be.

  5. I would love to find a puck possession coach. Kings have been a puck management team for well over a decade.

I would like to see more mobility. Improve the teams offense and specialty teams.

  6. I’m surprised this knucklehead didn’t say his sole mission was to clear cap space to able offer Ceci some huge contract extension 🤦🏻‍♂️

  7. This team thinking they are a playoff team next year, is the same people who wanted byfield over stutzle, Clarke over guenther, Turcotte over cozens,to name a few.

  8. Man, super disappointed. This was a total fluff piece. I think they need to clean the slate with these guys. If you are not in the clique, your career is going to suffer.
    Jeff

  9. If Holland is willing to do an interview with Zach, he should do the same type of sitdown interview with others in sports and local hockey media. But he won't, it's like a politician who only will go on if they get friendly questions that don't embarrass them.

  10. This next season's going to be even more frustrating. Kings were so hard to watch this past season so many stupid mistakes and constantly being out played. Kings struggled with tape 2 tape passes it goes on and on. Holland will keep DJ on as the easy solution. Kings need a veteran coach with structure. Rant over.

  11. Under DJ Smith, they got wasted by UTAH during the wild card race. Then carelessly lost the last two important games for positioning. DJ Smith is NOT the solution. Ken’s responses are not of those who want one last cup. This is a paycheck for him. Make it to the playoffs is good enough for him. Hate this management.

  12. The answers are weak, hes saying we need to get better on special teams, power play, the way you accomplish that is by getting better flippin players, not hunting for a top 6 center, we need a elite #1 not someone that can play 2nd line C, and see how QB plays 1st and 2nd line, swapping him in n out, and stop signing mediocre players to longer contracts, it sounds like he's fine with a mediocre team, making it to the first round and getting knocked in the 1st round again

  13. We need a whole new sweep through. Hunger, aggression and talent. From top to bottom it desperately needs it or we will just be also-rans next season again. There is a lot of hungry talent from the board room down to the ice out there, someone needs to grow a pair and make the decision immediately.

  14. While we listen to Kenny marble mouth his way through softball questions, let’s all remember that the bobblehead President of hockey operations, Luc is NOWHERE to be found.

That is problem number one. There is no accountability from the top down.

  15. Kings need a coach/program that is just systemic. Like more shots on goal and crash the net etc. puck possession , physicality etc.
