  1. Here they go! Blaming the loss on missing Makar! Geeez, VGK was missing Stone, but they still won! People should shove their excuses up their ass!

  2. If Makar continues to be injured, then VGK's chances of advancing dramatically increase. Makar is a difference maker for the Avalanche, because he can clog up the middle. If Hart plays his heart out and the Golden Knights stop McKinnon, then they have a good chance to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals. How many President's Cup trophy winners make to the Stanley Cup Finals? Not that many! Fact! Vegas in 6!

  3. Makar was healthy and younger when vegas eliminated avs 5 years ago. Vegas is a bad matchup for colorado. Stop with the colorado glazing.

  4. I don't know what to say.I think the avalanche or in trouble now.Because they never lost game one in the playoffs this year.Until now, this is not good for the avalanche

  5. As for my take, i think the difference isnt just makar, i think its vegas. Vegas just has a different style than the kings and minnesota did. Vegas punishes every mistake no matter how small. Theyre smothering on the ice. Colorado relies on quick offense that leads to quick goals. Opens room for more mistakes and breakdowns against teams like vegas. It will be a fun series. But this win was huge for vegas. Any time the road team can steal game 1 and take the home ice advantage for the series away from the opponent, its huge

  6. These guys act like the Avs finished on some fluke. Its like have these guys even seen a full game? Credit to Vegas but this is far from over. If this game had a 4th period vegas could of lost.

  7. The announcers talked about Makar more last night than when he's actually playing in the game. Sure, he's a big factor, but he's also not the end all be all.
