As for my take, i think the difference isnt just makar, i think its vegas. Vegas just has a different style than the kings and minnesota did. Vegas punishes every mistake no matter how small. Theyre smothering on the ice. Colorado relies on quick offense that leads to quick goals. Opens room for more mistakes and breakdowns against teams like vegas. It will be a fun series. But this win was huge for vegas. Any time the road team can steal game 1 and take the home ice advantage for the series away from the opponent, its huge
