Oilers should have pulled the trigger with DeBoer when they had the chance. But of course they want to go with a guy who won a cup in 2008, not like the game's changed at all, same strategy with gms and coaches will surely work this time around!
1st, no one says Babcock was being hired or even considered. It was speculation from Brian Lawton, his own opinion. 2nd, Babcock said himself he's not coming out of retirement.
