Adam Foote is out as head coach of the Canucks after one season. The move comes days after a major shakeup in the team’s front office with the promotion of Ryan Johnson to general manager and Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin to co-presidents. TSN Canucks reporter Farhan Lalji joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss the team’s decision to fire Foote and what else the Canucks might be cooking this offseason.

Short answer: No
Long Answer: Nooooooooooooo
Bureau Chief? Lol, Lalji is a loser.
Get rid of Buium next.
Adam Foote is probably relieved.
Also I'm hearing reports that the Canucks have been given permission to talk to Bruce Cassidy. /s 🤣
I didn’t even know Adam Foote was a coach.
Foote is a fall guy for Allvin and Jim's many mistakes. No centers for a year and so many other things they didn't help at all.
No! Manny Malhotra for new coach.
As a Canucks fan, I'm fine with it, but I also don't blame Adam for the performance. We had a couple of young guys break out a bit, and you could see that this was a bad team. If anything, mission accomplished – except for the NHL screwing the Canucks, like they always do. How many Draft Lotteries have the Canucks won? Oh right. They've had some Lottery Pick worthy seasons going back to the late 90s and even the 80s when it wasn't a thing, but no dice. In any case, you can still get a great player in the top 3. This is what the Canucks need to do for the next 3-4 years. Pick high in the draft, like every other team that became a contender. Colorado didn't get MacKinnon, Makar or Rantanen by being mediocre.
I am so happy to hear this because after what Johnson and the Sedins said at the press conference I was afraid oh no, they might keep Foote. I don't advocate firing people but Foote was just not the coach for this team imo.
