  1. Cool. Now ultra MAGA Tage Thompson can sign up and go to the Middle East for his buddy Trump. No? Oh yeah. Multi-millionaire MAGAs don’t enlist. Even though they love the rapist piece ___ __ occupying the White House.

  2. Thompson is about highlights! Too much dangling thru out his career rather than being simple ! Turnovers is his resume because of cuteness and his skating. Good player but not a top 10 player in the league!

  3. The puck dropped and went in net bc thats what the Buffalo curse caused to happen. The curse is real folks. Its undefeated against Buffalo major sports teams.

  4. I think a city wide collection to keep Greg Bauch over Mike Schopp would’ve made WGR a couple hundred grand. Also for what it’s worth, wrong as hell on the whistle blow call. They can review later on anything. You don’t kill the play just bc they aren’t totally sure in a split second. It’s not a “tough break” it’s incompetence at best by the refs, malicious at worst. It’s not baseball or gambling my dude, perish the thought.

Shocked they didn’t open the show with 15 minutes on dogs or funny word drafts.

  5. C'mon fellas. I know they were good in a rotation all season long. BUT, THAT IS NOT HAVING A TRUE #1. WE NEED A TRUE #1. Lukka has had his chances man.. I think we need must haves. Another top scorer, and a #1 GT..Have to do it..

  6. The ref blowing the whistle because they lose sight is legit…. the fact that the whistle can be heard with the puck moving behind dobes and the league chose not to challenge and overturn just shows that the NHL doesnt want their last Canada team bounced from the playoffs yet. When they lose, Canada will be blanked this year between the Olympics and NHL.

  7. Paul – I know the loss hurts, but it isn’t a goal. Nobody talks about the hit on Dobes just before that should have put Montreal on a power play. Don’t sound like Maple Leaf fans that still hold grudges from 1993.

  8. God damn am I a dumb (dark) blond sometimes…..I was today year old when I realized OWEN PARKER is the son of CHRIS PARKER #DUH no wonder he's such a good dude

  9. Levi was never an NHL goalie and I would still take Ellis over him – trade him if he's that butthurt, it's not the Sabres' fault he isn't the best option for G3

  10. Ok, let's get real. "He was going to cover it" and the ref anticipated the freeze?! That journalist is funny. A goal "kicking motion" cannot be contested. BUF can't do anything. At best, the NHL can review, thats it. But since the goal is called on the ice, it's must be clearly "a kicking motion", not a redirection. Again Hamilton does know the rule.

  11. OMG. I cannot believe the crap I hear on this. The ref blows the whistle when he loses sight, not to "give Dobes" the benefit of the doubt. End of story. As soon as it was poked into the net I knew it was no goal, even before the ref waved it off. This is basic hockey 101. I mean I could have ordered a pizza between the whistle and the when it crossed the line.
