I thought it was reported weeks ago the Kings already interviewed Cassidy?
Do we honestly believe that if Matthew’s came to LA and a similar situation happened with him taking a dirty hit that our boys would stand up for him? We have no enforcers let alone a guy willing to drop the gloves. I believe that’s something that we need to acquire for this upcoming season.

Vegas goes through coaches just as much as the Kings do yet they are a winning team pretty much every year. The Kings problem isn't coaching as much as it is a lack of skilled players that can put the puck in the net and no coach is going to change that problem until they get better players!
Solid no on Mathews… nobody came to his rescue because the players know he is a me first player…now with a bad knee.

I've been an Angels fan for over 50 years and every year, I'm more and more disappointed with their decisions. Since Moreno has owned the team, it's been a sh** show. I know it's just business, but dropping Patrick O'Neal is just par for the Angels course. I sincerely hope he stays on with the Kings because L.A. has been blessed with the best announcers: Hearn, Miller, Scully, Nickson, Fox, Evans and I'd even include O'Neal in that list.
On another note, very few coaches have won a Cup with more than one team. I'm not sure the Kings should go for someone who's already won one or more. Bowman was the most recent one, if memory serves. That was almost 25 years ago. GKG!
The Vegas Golden Knights have fired three head coaches since their inception in 2017: Gerard Gallant in January 2020, Peter DeBoer in May 2022, and Bruce Cassidy in March 2026. They fire better coaches than the Kings hire

I'd like to see the Kings promote Matt Greene to HC. Think he has the respect of players throughout the organization. If he wanted the gig, believe Stoll could be a quality assistant as well.
VGK's problem should be with Tortarella he's 100% the reason they lost that draft pick. It's what he does, flips the bird to the media constantly. Braden McNabb hasn't been a King since I was a puppy. The Kings need to learn from their mistake last year when they didn't IMMEDIATELY grab up Quinvillle. No more Oilers from Hollands good old boy group Ceci and Doumalin should be all the proof needed. They are 23 also rans and Draisaitl & Mc David.
