  1. If Stenberg is a STAR and looking great, why would San Jose not draft him? The Sharks don't need a defenseman as badly as Vancouver needs a star player. It's either Buium + #3 or #3 plus next years 1st unprotected.

  2. Willander, Buium, and Van 2027 1st rd at minimum, otherwise don’t even bother talking to the Greir. You can keep Hronek and Sharks will throw in Goodrow in good faith.

  3. No way San Jose would ever entertain a trade for a pick swap and some meaningless picks later. In the least I believe it would take a prospect/s and at least 2 1st round picks. San Jose is also a very young team, building their roster so it wouldnt even make sense for them to pass on Stenberg, they can pair him with Celebrini and Ecklund/Smith and be so much more better

  4. Why would the Sharks make a deal for picks next year and protected too? Ridiculous. We’ll take your #3 first round pick this year and your team captain. How bad do you want Stenberg now?

  5. When is this going to end!! The Sharks are not drafting a Dman #2. Sharks are taking either McKenna or Stenberg whoever the leafs take. First the Hawks praying/begging saying the same thing, If the Canucks want #2, its going to cost them an arm and a leg to get it. The #3 plus Elias Petterson, and Hronek, the canucks pay 75 % of their salary and if they say yes to that trade, Grier says Give me a couple of weeks to think about it. If they think thats too much, then stop talking about it.

  6. SJ has prospect wingers up the azz! They need dmen. Who is predicted to go at 3? A dman. It almost makes too much sense to swap for a benefitial additional piece
