  1. I keep seeing delusional canucks fans thinking hronek and the wild pick for 2… it would be the 3rd overall plus hronek. You want a premium pick you pay a premium price lol

  2. I realize the Ruck twins aren't top tier pics, but hard to ignore the hockey Universe manifesting twins as eligible in the first entry draft the Sedins are Presidenting over. Twins drafting twins would be a marketing wet dream.

  3. There is no reason to move up, wait and see who is available and pick. We need PICKS! We don't need to give them away . Give Peety to Toronto for #1

  4. Why Bother? It's CLEAR that SJ needs a Young Stud Defenceman, and will almost certainly select either Reid or Verhoff. HOWEVER, if Sundin and the Leafs, go off book and select Stenberg 1st, because of the Swedish Influence, and Dangle McKenna in front of SJ, they almost Can't pass that up Right? Or do they STAY the course and grab Reid as was the plan? Then WE get to choose between McKenna and Malhotra. SWEET! Picking third is fine by me unless it's Jake DeBrusk as the cost of moving up, that's fine too, with no salary retention. Or if the Leafs DO take McKenna, SJ takes Reid, and we get either Stenberg or Malhotra, so again, Why Bother? The Last thing I'll say is that I will consider this draft a FAILURE if we don't end up with Both Markus and Liam RUCK! THIS. HAS. TO. HAPPEN!!!

  5. There are Mckenna and Stenberg who have a far better chance at being good pick. From 3rd pick to 6th pick its a crapshoot. I am very worried picking 3rd to be honest.

  6. If we get Stenberg or Reed, Stenberg will be a bust after his rookie deal, and Reed will leave after he wins a Norris.
Oh wait, that's already happened. Can it happen twice? 50 years of canucking up everything says yeah, it could.

  7. If Vancouver truly wants Ivar Stenberg, they cannot afford to just sit at 3 and pray he falls. San Jose is holding an auction right now with Vancouver, Chicago, and New York. Which ever team jumps up to 2, Stenberg is gone. Trading up with the Sharks isn't just about moving up one spot—it's about Vancouver controlling their own destiny and locking down a franchise-altering winger before someone else leaves them empty-handed

  8. One of Stenbergs criticisms is his foot speed. Sorry man, fastest league in the World. I take a Canadian if it's even close 8 days a week. Canucks don't do that. They've never won a Cup either
