How aggressive should Calgary Flames be in trying to move up in the draft?

The Sharks are NOT going to trade the #2 pick. They will select Ivar Stenberg. Wishful thinking on Calgary fans but, they Sharks has a need of a scoring winger. Ivar Stenberg fill that need. Sharks will have get Defense some other ways.
Im so sick of people thinking Grier will trade the 2nd overall pick. The Sharks will take who the Leafs dont.
As for your Calgary Flames! I can confirm two Calgary flames scouts were at the Canada vs Sweden game and they weren't there for Stenberg they were there for Viggo Bjork!
If Bjork is available at 6 its a done deal if hes gone Carson Carels would be the pick but I know one scout with the Flames is pushing for Verhoeff over Carels.
It is a possibility that Conroy will try to move up from the Vegas pick seeing he has 4 2nd rd picks so he absolutely has the ammo to move up 5-10 spots.
There are two Russians the Flames are very high on one being Morozov and I dont think he will make it past 20.

The sharks don’t have much incentive to trade down from #2, why not just take McKenna or Stenberg and pair them with Macklin? Would take a home run offer but even that is unlikely
