TOTAL DISASTER 😳 Canadiens Bully Sabres in Game 5

That was brutal.

The Montreal Canadiens storm into Buffalo and hang SIX goals on the Buffalo Sabres, pushing the Sabres to the brink in a crushing Game 5 loss.

On this emotional episode of Sabres in Six, D.A. breaks down:
• Another rough night in goal
• Defensive breakdowns that continue to haunt Buffalo
• A team that just refuses to make anything easy on itself
• And the overwhelming disappointment of getting dominated on home ice in a game THIS important

Still… D.A. finds a few silver linings heading into a must-win Game 6.

But make no mistake:
This wasn’t just a loss.
It was a gut punch.

Now the Sabres have to prove what they’re really made of.

  1. The winner of this series essentially should go to the finals. Carolina is 0-14 in their last 14 conference finals appearance from 2009-present. It’s a wrap 😅

  2. the way the frefs are calling the game Montréal is going to win it all the way the goalie slashes with his stick i would slice his thought with mine

  3. As a Sabers fan I knew the Canadians would win the series. They have more heart and talent. I'm okay with that. But I fear the incredibly strong and talented Carolina Hurricanes will sweep them What are your thoughts?

  4. The big difference between Montreal and Buffalo? Their leaders and better players don't take stupid penalties costing goals and hurting their team. You almost never see Suzuki, Caufield getting penalties. Meanwhile Thompson, Dahlin spend time in the box that hurt the Sabres. Lack of discipline.

  5. Thompson is definitely playing hurt. People say its hand/wrist, but watching how he's wincing, lacks acceleration, isn't moving his feet – it's a groin / hernia. He's bringing Tuch down with him.

  6. As a Montreal fan, I have to admit that I was very happy for the Sabres to finally get a chance to play in the playoffs. No matter what happens next, Buffalo fans should be proud of their team, which is so big and full of young talents. The future is bright for you guys! By the way, my favorite NFL team is the Bills and Josh Allen is my favorite player so, I wish Buffalo keeps shining for a long time… ☺

  7. How about changing the 3 defense paring ? UPL was a bad choice . Timmins Schein and Stanley have been the weal link that Montreal has capitalized on this whole series . Lindy has to make major changes like Lyon Metza and Kesselring .

  8. How can you say that the sabres dominated the first period at ( 3/2 ) ? The Canadiens are the better team after winning in every single categories! The crowd, goals, turnovers, shots, blocks shots, attempted shots , transition success, passing % , goalie save percentage, goalie goal against per games , power play percentage and penalty kill percentage! Enjoy real facts!

  9. Ruff will be gone, nothing has changed from the standpoint of his STARS getting what he is trying to tell them, he has lost the room, forget about loyalty, Tuch needs to go, #4 has to go, their defense is made up of forwards

  10. There is no way Sabres will win this series. If it's game 6 or 7. Habs will take the series. Sabres is not ready to go all the way to the Stanley Cup finals. Not just yet

  11. Your goalie has a 730 same percentage and you give up five and two periods. You’re not even letting your team compete can’t happen how Lindy continues to put him in net or puzzle me to the end of time you got what you deserved I don’t know who you think you are or what you think you have but the plan on the ice tells you highly inconsistent unreliable nervous the moments are too big. Yeah let’s go with him. Lindy‘s head new PO for 90 games. He has a track record. This is what he does.
He’s constantly late, which is why his damn pads are off the ice but he’s huge not sure that’s a skill, but he’s really adapt really good. Really good at not letting the pocket hit him.

The rest of his window dressing what the plan tonight was for seven this is playoff hockey five and two periods doesn’t work

  12. The Sabres don't have the players to play a heavy game. They're not that kind of team. They can't intimidate the Habs who have Anderson and Arber. Greenway on the PK?! LOL!

  13. I see the defensive lapses first and foremost, a problem I saw during the regular season of not being able to match the energy throughout all three periods, lastly, just a little bit better goaltending as needed. I saw the Sabres playing with high energy in the first period and slowly that went away and Toronto’s energy wrapped up. Their feet stop moving as much. They’re aggressiveness stop happening as they got tired I assume. If they can’t match the energy, they can’t win.

  14. Sabres deserve to sit down. They are not nearly good enough when I matters most. I don’t want to watch them anymore. Better if they lose Saturday 😊
