Czech goalie school is insanely good and Postava will be no. 1 somewhere very soon, take my word on it. Do your research on him.

9. Knobs is a bad coach. He was not able to adjust to a lot of teams game plans. The playoffs was a perfect example and I don't know if they gave up when McDavid got hurt or not but to watch 6 games of them doing the same thing over and over and over and failing over and over was beyond infuriating. Knobs should have been fired by game 4

It's interesting to me that everybody has zeroed in on knoblauch or bowman possibly being fired, but nobody is mentioning Jeff Jackson, who happens to be responsible for hiring both of those guys. Also, I'm pretty sure it was Jackson who is responsible for not wanting to lock up Broberg and Holloway in season, leaving them susceptible to offer sheets. What's the point of having a CEO of hockey operations who doesn't step in and prevent the GM from doing stupid things, like giving a depth forward an 8 year contract with a no move clause, trading for a goalie in a deal that simply carried more risk than upside return. Jeff Jackson just played Daryl Katz for his own benefit. "Hey Daryl, I can make sure Connor stays, and I can modernize the hockey ops department. Holland isn't valuing and using cap space properly. What do you say, pay me $4M x 5 and I'll make sure we're winning Stanley after Stanley. What do you say, Daryl?"

    Bowman has been terrible in the last two years. Bowman let Holloway/Broberg both go which is almost criminal ! Federick was a horrible signing for 8 years! Undersized Mangiapane , J.Skinner and Arvidson were all bad stupid wasted moves! Jarry was a very risky trade for Oilers by Bowman with Kulak gone +2nd round pick gone and Skinner's good contract gone ! Jarry is no better than Skinner!
    Knoblauch shouldn't be fired before Bowman is fired!

35. I agree that there has to be changes on Oilers defense before the Oilers can be Cup contender again! Somehow Nurse has to be moved! Oilers can sign two solid D Men for Nurse's contract! Murphy is just too slow for a big and long cap hit! Stastny isn't a keeper unless it's a short cheap contract ! Walman has an iffy long contract but I think he has ok upside! Emberson is ok and Ekholm is older but still a good plus! Bouchard is an excellent player and can become a great hall of famer if his Defense becomes a bit more consistent! His five on five defense stats are really good! But his give away mistakes make all the lowlight reals!

37. Finding a new coach is easier BUT it hard to change systems mid season. So the new coach is most likely stuck playing the old coaches systems with minor tweaks.

38. These goalies Tyler talking about, have good defensive structure in front of them. So unless our players are held accountable defensively, nothing will change regardless of who in net.

39. Put Jarry in minors, you only save just over a million, but it more than buying him out and won’t cost assets to get rid of.
