You also need to understand that Pelech is a GONER, I can guarantee that. He is still a tradable asset and Darche will deal him at or after the draft. In addition, Aithcheson is UNTOUCHABLE. The kid is a 6’2” , 19 year old PHYSICAL defenseman who will destroy opponents with big open ice hits, can contribute offensively and just won Defenseman of the Year in the OHL. The upside on this kid will rival Schaefer, trust me. This upcoming season is not going to see us a serious contender again, so use the upcoming off season and regular season to let DeBoer mold a team he wants to build so in ‘27-‘28 we are ready to be considered a perennial Cup contender.
