Did the refs just miss a clear icing call⦠or was this the right play? š
Late in Game 1 in round 2 between the Vegas Golden Knights and Anaheim Ducks, the puck looks like it shouldāve been iced⦠but thereās no whistle. Seconds later⦠Vegas scores what becomes the game-winning goal.
Ducks head coach Joel Quenneville was furious, and you can see why.
So what do YOU thinkā¦
icing or no icing? š

Be honest⦠ICING or NO ICING? š«£
No āmaybeā answers⦠pick a side.
It was icing. Even the rules analyst said it was.
It was 100% icing all day
Not icing, not a Vegas fan either. Eichel was first at hashmarks and ref has to make a call, Iād prefer ducks to win but Iām not delusional either
That's why you keep playing, the refs get it wrong sometimes, part of the game…
It was icing. But not suprised. Vegas is still a golden child of the nhl
Yes it was icing but it can be waived off at the refs discretion, the duckies player touched the puck first but he F****d it up and unfortunately for the duckies the golden knights with all their mighty splendor capitalized on the opportunity and put the nail on the coffin ā°ļø š¦ ā ļø
Vegas, again, gets preferential treatment by Lord Bettman and his zebra cronies.
Bevan Mills.
it WAS icing but then LaCombe stuck out his arm & leg while slowing down into Eichels path to the puck rather than continue his own path to the puck. Icing isn't about who gets to the dots quicker its about who will touch the puck first. Definitely enough to waive off icing.
