  1. Habs fan here…clicked on this without realizing it was the official TB channel (have been watching tons of highlights). Good series folks. I said to my wife before Game 7 – both teams have earned their way to a one-game series, and you just hope that the luck and bounces go our way tonight because it is so ridiculously close. One team was going to go home really heartbroken last night and while i'm happy the Habs have moved on – I tip my cap to the Lightning for a hard-fought series. On side note – before it even started I was railing against the NHL for these ridiculous seeding systems. Dallas vs Minny in the west, Montreal vs Tampa in the east. Meanwhile teams like Philly, Pitts, Anaheim, Edmonton, Vegas and Utah battling it out. This could have been a conference finals match-up. A young upstart in Montreal learning how to grind vs the experienced Lightning who KNOW how to grind. And comes down to a bounce.

  2. Canadian fan here. It was divine intervention is all. 😅

My mother, a huge Habs hockey fan, passed May 3, 2002. When Newhook’s attempt bounced off the back of the goalie and into the net, putting the Canadiens up 2-1, my older brother sent me a text. ‘Miracles happen. Mom’s birthday present’. I knew right away Tampa would not score on the Habs again this season. My mother loved hockey. She also immensely disliked the bullying and taunting activity of opposing teams. Just play the game. Unfortunately the new look bolts relied too much on the old tactics she referred to as bullying. Just play the game next season.

  3. Fans going "Tampa was the better team all series long". Bro Tampa had the lead for only 11 minutes during the entire series. 🤣🤣🤣👌

  4. Last game the Habs should have won and end the series. In fact, if you consider all of the games, the Habs were the better team.

  5. Hagel legit has something wrong with him, and I hope he finds the psychological help he needs. It's not worth it to publicly embarrass yourself just because your opponent didn't select you in training camp back in 2018.

  6. I am a Montreal fans but, both teams deserved to win and to go to the second round, unfortunatly the NHL rules are not made like this. I have a lot of respect for the Lightning organisation, always hard to play against, better luck next year.

  7. I had a dream last night .. it wasn't wet this time but just as good .. Jon Cooper moved to Toronto and coached the Laffs … One of the few coaches that could bring the best out of any player….
