  1. You would think that Canadian teams would go far and win a Stanley Cup but not for the last 33 years .Montreal is the last surviving team to get a chance at breaking the jinx . This may be the fastest series we have ever seen because both these teams can really fly and score . This will be a real test for both teams . Get ready for some great Hockey from both teams .

  2. I have followed Buffalo since Tim Horton was a hockey player not a Donut name. I am a Montreal fan though. I have always felt that Buffalo plays a little harder against Montreal. But Chris Berman always used to say "that's why we play the games" to determine who is better. Who wins? Lindy Ruff! He has done everything for Buffalo including the teams laundry and sweeping the floors at the Aud! Do they still call it the Aud?

  3. Tampa was a problem for the Canadiens…..but the team that went 3-0-1 and was like 20 seconds from being 4-0-0 against them – including in games where Tampa tried to establish their game – and he expects the Canadiens to win this one?

I'm not saying they won't win, but his rationale is all screwed up. Especially after the way the Sabres just handled the Bruins, who were probably the worst matchup for the Sabres in these playoffs

  4. Pat LaFontaine is my favorite hockey player. Grew up in Cheektowaga and remember all the great teams the Sabres had. I didn't see this coming at all this season. Its already been a fantastic season for the Sabres. Bring the cup to Buffalo

  5. Totally fair for him to pick the Habs, but based on his comments about both series (MTL vs TB and MTL vs BUF) I think this guy vastly overestimates the value of experience. He thinks it's the primary driver of playoff success, and it isn't really.
