Beacon Spotlight: Garrison Sanipass (Men’s Hockey Sr.) Learning About His Indigenous Ancestry

Men’s hockey senior forward Garrison Sanipass’ father Everett Sanipass was the first indigenous hockey player to be drafted to the NHL out of New Brunswick, Canada. While Garrison didn’t grow up knowing much about his native ancestry, he has began learning more about himself and his background while at UMass Boston.
