  14. So, let me get this straight, dean Lombardi wins 2 Cups for the franchise and then gets fired as soon as he loses in round 1 ONCE but luc doesn’t after 9 STRAIGHT YEARS OF GODDAMN INCOMPETENCE?!

  16. Rebuild the whole team, need som good players that can really score goals. Then we need 2 pair of new D-mans that can skate and deliver some action from the blue line, both physically and shot in goal. I love drew but its time for him to move or quit.

  17. Fire everyone and do a ground up rebuild. They wont. But they should. I know whatever they do it wont surprise me. AEG never disappoints me in how much they disappoint me.

I think for his career, Kopitar was underrated by the league, especially by fans and analysts of other teams, but by now, people realize Kopitar was the premier two-way center for a prototypical first line center for a contender team. Barkov now takes that mantle. But for the LA organization, they way overrated him. They dumped Quick but kept Kopitar and Doughty while trying to still win one for "the boys". How can you do that when you draft poorly like Quentin Byfield, let go a guy like Brock Faber AND dump Quick?

  22. Lets just wait for luc’s “we were right there” speech and continue our very effective dump and chase system next season. QB is a bust. Ceci and Dumbolin are the best defense pair this game has ever seen. Scoring 4 goals in 4 playoff games is pathetic!!!

  23. In the past few years, seems Kings were routinely losing games 6-5, like with porous defense against the Oilers. This year was completely different, this series it seems like they lost because their big guys who have been hot going into the playoffs, they got too focused on checking and playing 90's playoff hockey. Players are too skilled these days, you just have to play your game. Their defense was far better than previous years, and they did well at controlling the game, so why not focus on scoring instead of checking other players so much? There wasn't enough skill difference between these two teams to waste energy trying to get under the other team's skin, so just believe in yourself more instead.
    Kopitar is and has always been class, of course.
