In this small in-person interview, Brandon Caputo speaks with Buffalo Sabres defenceman Conor Timmins about his mindset going into the NHL Playoffs in his first season with Buffalo, excited about now being so close to home as a native of St. Catharines, Ontario in the Niagara Region just over the border, with more friends and family available to watch him play and being able to visit more often.
Timmins also discusses growing up playing in the OHL with Soo, allowing his successful development there to have him be drafted in the NHL by the Colorado Avalanche via the second round.
