At the end of the second period, it easily could have been 3-0, Boston, but Geekie whiffed on a wide open net and Pastrnak failed to cash in on a breakaway.
At the start of the third, I texted my brothers:
“I feel that Boston not burying two or three golden opportunities is gonna come back to bite them.
Swayman is red hot, but he cannot stay that way forever. Someone is gonna knock one home, then it’s ON!”
I’m very happy to see that’s exactly what happened!

The Sabres were ALL OVER THEM virtually the whole game. Just weren't scoring. Then they did.
Buffalo is bigger and tougher. And Sturm is a dolt for giving bulletin board material before the series even started.

The sabres are incredible difficult to hang with at 5 on 5. Their power play is maddening, but if it starts clicking they will be terrifying. So much for all that big bad bruins experience 😂

OK, I’m not normally superstitious but this is the first game I’ve watched ~ I’m sorry! OK we were not ahead, Sabres, I stopped watching (I thought I was bringing them bad luck 🍀 cause I hadn’t watched it before … and here I am watching and we are losing .. so I stopped watching .. )when I came back. The score was two to one. I said OK we did score. I stopped watching again… Seven minutes plus left in the third period… I stopped watching altogether when I checked the final score, My mind was blown!!! 🤯 four goals in less than seven minutes. Oh my gosh!! how did I miss this!! but you know what ? it wasn’t meant for me to see!! but we won ! 4 to 3 !! Woo hoo 🙌🏽 Go Sabres !!!

The only experience that Boston got is what it's like to play against Buffalo 😂 Buffalo was the better team at every level. Swayman tried but he isn't good enough and that's a learning experience and I hope he is broken mentally 😂
