The avs are going to get destroyed in the second round. If they win, I would be shocked if they come out of that series without any injuries. That's why i think whoever wins the pacific will take the avs out and advance to cup finals. I hope the ducks take the edm to game 7, hoping for multiple injuries and suspensions to the oilers. GKG

To be fair about the Lane Hutson slapshot post, he is on 2 of the top 3 pairings in the league for xGF% and GF%. #1 w/ Dobson, #3 w/ Carrier. The numbers kinda show he may be the best Dman in the league right now.
I'm an Avs fan and have been really disappointed the last several years so I totally get it. If they don't win this series vs the Kings I think Bednar is probably gone (though I think that would be a bad move), even if it's not deserved, and who knows what other changes they make, but…. Avs in 6. I think the Kings are going to be a sneaky hard out but I think that our team's mentality this year is very good and we have really great depth. I think I'm more comfortable with Wedgewood but also not really concerned if Blackwood starts some games. Also not really concerned about their lack of playoff experience, but you never know I guess.
Kinda feel like the Wild are going to win their series but I would prefer the Avs to get Dallas so they can slay their demons in the 2nd round. Anyway though, thanks for the pod. Let's go Avs!!!!
