Pelley seems to have a massive ego. Thinks he knows more than the experts in any subject. Reminds me of Trump believing he knows more than all his experts . In Pelleys case Artificial Intelligence seems like an oxymoron.
the board of governors needs to get there hands off the team get some dogs that use to play the game n make hockey decisions
when I grew up, it was Gilmour and Clark and Potvin and Andreychuk. after that, Sundin and Cujo and Mogilny and Roberts and Tucker.
if kids watched now, they'd see the same players choke in the playoffs nine years in a row. they suck. the players are reg season merchants who suck when it matters most.
the team is a joke and the organization is a mess.

Leafs need to payoff Bettman to get Mckenna and then trade matthews nylander Rielly Carlo stolarz and get 2-3 young prospects and couple first rds even if retaining salary. 3 year turnaround. Sign 2-3 legit players on 3 year deals and see what you have.
After this last presser. I am now actually embarrassed to wear my Leafs gear. Never been more embarrassed. The brand has definitely taken a hit.

I grew up in maple gardens, through decades of great players, great hockey. I was 7 in 67' but until this season 25/26 I have never turned off the television and walked away from hockey night in Canada any night of the week. Taking a hit? You are underestimating the hit. I watch every other game our cable package allows, but I have never turned off my Toronto Maple Leafs in 55 years! What a shame, overpaid, under hearted, no grit hockey, not caring if they win the big prize. Money, greed, money, don't and won't take a hit to win! It'll be a long time before me and my stepson, a hockey player, referee, will sit and enjoy the Leafs again for some time. Hey Willy, making enough money yet? Thank you for "Overdrive" my favorite show, you guys get it!
I'm not spending another dollar on the Leafs and I'm inches away from becoming a Vegas fan. The handling of Mitch Marner was absolutely disgusting. I do not agree with the views and culture of the Leafs managment.

They're not taking a hit because they are leaning to AI…….they're taking a hit because people are finding out that the Leafs are in it for the money, and nothing but the money. They are cheap…bottom line……As long as the butts are in the Seats, and the merchandise is going out the door…..they could give a flying F about a winning team. Tells me Rogers is hurting a lot more than they want to admit. My personal opinion….Leafs will be sold within 5 years.
